Chemical Plants

Titus Engineering partnered with the client from the earliest planning stages to define and budget the industrial automation scope for a new cleaning chemicals and products facility. Building on a successful prior relationship with plant leadership, Titus helped determine the appropriate level of automation through detailed cost analysis and operational evaluation.

During the HAZOP review process, Titus refined instrumentation and control elements to enhance facility safety. The team then established the automation design basis and assisted in selecting Rockwell Automation PlantPAx as the plant-wide control platform.

In the execution phase, Titus:

  • Specified all instrumentation

  • Reviewed and finalized MCC designs

  • Developed conduit and cable schedules

  • Produced instrument location plans for construction

  • Delivered full control system integration, including an MES interface for raw material inventory management and finished product batch tracking

  • Designed, fabricated, and delivered HMI and PLC panels

  • Installed the facility’s fiber backbone infrastructure

Following system development, Titus trained operators and maintenance personnel and led commissioning through initial batch production. The company continues to provide ongoing support under contract and remains engaged for future expansion initiatives.
