Mine and Chemical Processing Facility
Based on a long-standing partnership and Titus Engineering’s proven Discovery Phase methodology, the client engaged Titus to address control system obsolescence and develop a holistic, standardized automation strategy across a fertilizer complex.
The site included more than 50 control and network panels located across 30+ areas, representing multiple generations of equipment. Project goals included improving maintainability, enhancing operator awareness, and increasing system resiliency and reliability.
Titus began by evaluating each operational unit and defining project constraints with plant leadership. The team then developed a structured cutover strategy to minimize production disruption during implementation.
Currently, Titus is providing system integration services for one of the production units and continues to support the client’s reliability team in resolving instrumentation and control challenges within a harsh chemical environment. Additional automation initiatives are actively underway.
